Happy Hour might be our favorite time of day. All the good things that make us smile are available during a proper Happy Hour: fine cocktails, beer or wine, a good selection of affordable bites and fun people to share the experience with. This is what we found during the Thursday edition of Ruth’s Chris Happy Hour which runs until 7pm weekdays, but especially fun on Thursday.
Your buck stretches further and the fun is livelier on Thursday’s at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Uptown. There is a killer band that plays until 9pm and the restaurant offers half priced bottles of wine. There are great selections of wine available and plenty under $30. A proper purchase can carry you way past the end of Happy Hour.
Cocktails and food also have a great price tag, making Ruth’s Chris a fantastic choice for mid-week enjoyment. All weekday choose from the Happy Hour Menu for $9 big bites and $9 craft cocktails.
The bites are big and even sharable, including their prime burger with fries, a tenderloin skewered salad, seared ahi tuna, a crab BLT, a steak sandwich, and spicy shrimp. All so delicious and $9 until 7pm. For those who live or work in the area you have an extremely affordable option for a great dinner.
The $9 cocktails run the gamut from a Manhattan, a classic cosmo, and our very favorite – a gin basil smash. A long list of craft beer will run you $4 each. Bargain!
Ruth’s Chris Happy Hour makes it to the top of our list in Dallas for the good food and drink, excellent mingling and on Thursday the Uptown Wine Down with half priced wine.
